Session 44 - The Mud Flats

Notes

• Along the beautiful shores of Lake Silverstep little butterfly-winged dragons zoom around the cattails and reeds.  Eels and grigs are spotted, as well as a glimpse of a nude female swimming under the water.
• A 3-mile long swath of bubbling mud on the lake shore is home to mudmen.  The corpse of a horse and its rider are discovered in the mud.
• The body of Toman Hanvaki is found in a shallow gulch near the road north of Varnhold.  His neck is broken, and his brooch lies nearby.
• The session ends on the 16th of Arodus in the middle of the day.

Session 43 - The Nomen Solution

Notes

• Mother Moon shares the contents of the book she read.
• She also offers a magical plumed cloak as a token of friendship between the Nomen and Red March.  If Red March expands its borders alongside the Dunsward, the Nomen territories, they will receive an increase to Stability of 2 due to the secured border.
• Niabi and Tocho decide to return with the group to Red March and draw out a promise of safety from Roden.
• At Varnhold, all 42 jars are unstoppered.  Howitt Gurney and Ervil Pendrod are among them.
• After spending a day in Varnhold, they return to Port Jackal with Maestro Pendrod in tow.
• Turn in spider silk to weaver.
• Set up Niabi, Tocho, and Pendrod in the castle.
• Sent aid to Varnhold (a BP worth), and the cat Dragon, Willas's journal, dinnerware, 6000 gp worth of coins and jewelry, and another 4000 gp to cover the missing gems and coffer.
• Tomar Lodovka, a bounty hunter, kills a man named Boba.  Tomar claims Boba was wanted for pillage and rape by House Lodovka and has the documentation to prove it.
• Tomar is released with Lily on a diplomatic mission to House Lodovka (1 BP is spent on the mission).
• The session ends on the 28th of Sarenith.
