Session 66 & 67 - House of a Hundred Doors

Notes
  • Back in Fort Drelev, the armies of the Red March are dispatched to Littletown to investigate the rumors of a second wyvern army.
  • Teleporting to Irovetti's palace, a battle for the ages happens in his throne room.  Villamor Koth and an ogre mage are slain in the battle, but Irovetti manages to teleport away with the ogre mage's corpse.  The party retreats with a dead Baron Roden in tow.
  • After raising Roden from the dead, they return to Irovetti's palace.
  • The find a fighting arena in the palace and slay a gargoyle and his hellhounds in the dungeons below the arena.
  • Using Ed's locate object spell they track Irovetti to an underground natural chamber partially underwater.  The final confrontation with Irovetti, an ogre mage, and a naga takes place.  The heroes prevail and Irovetti is slain.

Session 65 - The Ghostly Gardener

NPCs
  • Evindra, beautiful captive fey
Notes
  • In the cemetery, the overgrown foliage and ground rise up in great mounds and attack.
  • Will-o-wisps haunt the basement cells of the chapel.
  • A cave is found next to the ruined winery and followed into a cavern under the well.  The rage-filled ghost of the gardener haunts the cave and defends his home.  Evindra is found locked within an exquisite water clock.  She pleads for the PCs to find her shawl and return it to her.

Session 64 - Whiterose Abbey

Notes
  • The armies of the Red March are victorious at Wyvernstone Bridge and reclaim Fort Drelev.
  • While the soldiers rest, the group takes off to Whiterose Hill, where they have heard rumors of a possible doomsday device in the making, leveraging the supposed magical font at the Abbey.
  • Whiterose Hill is long abandoned, but they experience strange sights and sounds during their searching.
  • In the Abbey, they are ambushed by Pitax soldiers led by an elusive wererat, and find several interesting books that suggest the gardener desired a tome written in Aklo.
  • The session ends on the 15th of Erastus.

Session 62 & 63 - Battle of Wyrmstone Bridge

Notes
  • Hung around Pitax after the tournament for a few days.  Asked around town about a rumor of a vampire living in caves under the city.
  • Headed into the hills north of Fort Drelev to explore.  Ran into some Golden Gorgers.
  • Fort Drelev was occupied by a Pitax army.
  • A deal was made with the M'botuu tribe of boggards.  The Red March will provide them arms and armor.  In return the M'botuu will subjugate the other boggard tribes to fight under one banner.
  • Magic and labor was used to add more defenses to hold Wyrmstone Bridge against the invading Pitax army.
  • The Red March army was mustered and the favor of allies called upon, the Nomen providing centaur archers and the Blackscale tribe providing skirmishers.
  • The Battle of Wyrmstone Bridge begins...

Session 61 - Rushlight Tournament

Notes
  • Visit the mysterious Madame Duclarion's Menagerie, where she gives her card if they PCs are ever interested in making arrangements with her for securing the fantastic and fabulous for her show.
  • An audience with King Irovetti where some small chat occurs.
  • The first event it is an archery contest which Daggermark wins.
  • The second event is a test of skill in the axe where logs are chopped down, that Red March wins.
  • The third event is one of boasting, which Daggermark wins.
  • The last event, the Midnight Joust is won by Pitax, with Red March winning the right to joust against the former champion.

Session 60 - Pitax

Notes
  • The city of Pitax, Tarnished Jewel of the River Kingdoms, is explored.
  • The market at the Square of the Common Man proves to be a minefield for charlatan's selling false wares.
  • At Calistria's Cathedral they meet Drey Yarnes, the resident priest and notorious bachelor.  He explains many of the current going-ons in the city.
  • The Falling Star Tavern ran by the fallen Liacenza bandit house, is busy with young conspirators and those who wish to voice their opinions of the government.
  • The Academy of the Arts is ran by Headmistress Atalia Gitaren, whose students spew out publicly funded affronts to good taste.
  • The Red Crescent Theater puts on a play that is poor, crude, violent, and borderline pornographic, with bad actors.

Session 59 - Armag The Twice-Dead

Notes
  • A dozen animated skeletons found in a cavern knee deep in bones.
  • Zorek, the guardian of the tomb is fought in an inner temple to Gorum.
  • Armag The Twice-Born is slain along with his bloody skeleton champions.  The greatsword he wields, Ovinrbaane, is dumped into the portable pit, untouched.

Session 58 - The Black Sisters

Notes
  • The hallways of the tomb are covered in deep fog.  The Black Sisters are stumbled upon at the entrance.  They fight with their Babau servants.
  • A test of strength involving large boulders, and a test of endurance involving walls of ice are undertaken and passed.
  • An iron golem made in the image of Gorum is fought.

Session 56 & 57 - Liberation

Notes
  • Drelev and Imeckus ambush the party.
  • Drelev is slain.  Imeckus escapes.
  • Lady Quintessa is nowhere to be found.
  • The Baroness is charmed and later dropped off in Restov with a swordlord ally.
  • Hill giants are found living in the courtyard, and are slain.
  • Numesti is set up as temporarily in charge until Fort Drelev can be made part of Red March.
  • Information on Armag's Tomb is discovered.  The party heads that way, but first they use teleports to quickly save Numesti's daughter and several other young women being held as prisoners.
  • The Tiger Lord vanguard fights it out at the entrance to the tomb.
  • The session ends on the 18th of Desnus as the party enters the cleft that is the entrance to Armag's Tomb.

Session 55 - Black Pudding

Notes
  • The secret passage leading under Drelev's Keep is found on the shore of Lake Hooktongue.
  • Jumped by some black pudding that take the shirt off Shoda's back.
  • Numesti is freed and armed.
  • Using secret trapdoors the group makes their way to the fourth floor and Drelev's bedchamber.  But he is not there, and Pawvul glimpses an odd shaped cloud of dust outside the window...

Session 54 - Refugees

  • Merkov, former mercenary of Drelev's company.
Notes
  • Encountered a group of refugees stranded en route to Pitax.  Tazol heals the wounded.  Merkov tells Occam about a secret passage to the keep.
  • A hydra is slain.
  • Three giant snails are harvested for their acid.
  • A library and cathedral is built in Port Jackal.
  • Session ends in Port Jackal on the 7th of Desnus.

Session 53 - The Bog Striders

NPCs
  • Tok-Tekt, bog strider.
  • Ka-Kekt, son of Tok-Tekt.
Notes
  • Fort Wyvernstone built overlooking the bridge.  The road to Wyvernstone is not drawing the trade traffic desired, likely the situation at Drelev will have to be dealt with before the trade will flow.
  • The Kobold population has exploded over the last year.  Thousands of kobolds inhabit the Red March, clustered around the silver mines.
  • Built city walls around Port Jackal.
  • An island of bog striders is discovered in the Slough.  Tok-Tekt talks with the group, and tells them about their constant fights with the Boggard and the recent capture of a bog strider.
  • The captured bog strider is discovered in the M'botuu camp.  He is rescued and returned.  Tok-Tekt points out some of the things they are looking for in the Slough.
  • A cave of Chuuls is stumbled upon.  The Chuuls are slain.
  • The session ends in the Slough during the day on the 4th of Gozran.

Session 52 - Bog Mummies

Notes
  • John is taken to Stranglethorn, and given funds to return home.
  • Roden leaves some silver metal marbles in a clearing in the Narlmarches.
  • The chief of the M'botuu, Sepoko, is met.  He offers a gift for the slaying of the "Legless Lady", and claims Red March as allies of the M'botuu.
  • Bog mummies ambush the group.  They are slain, but afterwords Pawvul contracts the dreaded Mummy Rot.
  • In between teleportation shenanigans, Kavken cures the slowly dying Pawvul.
  • Gave the headband found on the spirit naga to Pendrod.  Pendrod shared story of Ghost Stone.
  • The dragonfly wings were given to Borzaki.
  • The session ends in Port Jackal on the 13th of Pharast. (?)

Session 51 - The Swamp Scar

NPCs
  • John, Drelev lumberjack.
Notes
  • In the sinking bogs, strange lights are seen at night.
  • Giant dragonflies attack the camp one night, in a dragonfly-infested part of the slough.
  • Stumble across a wandering lumberjack named John.
  • John takes the party to a massive pile of driftwood, the Swamp Scar.  There, a charm is dispelled from John, and a spirit naga is killed.

Session 50 - Boggard Ambush

Notes
  • The invading army charges Tatzlford from the north.
  • The trolls smash through the palisade and are slain.
  • Akiro fights Ameon to the death.
  • Tatzlfod stands, only suffering minor damage from the battle and a low number of casualties.
  • Kisandra begs for the citizens of Drelev to be liberated from the Baron's tyranny.
  • Where the East Sellen empties into Hooktongue, a group of Boggard carry out an ambush.  Roden charms one and asks him to return with his chief, Gig'warg.  They wait for a bit, but he doesnt return.
  • East of Hooktongue, the exploration of miles of quicksand-pocked swamp begins.
  • The session ends on the night of the 17th of Calistril.

Session 48 & 49 - Trouble In Tatzlford

Session 48 Notes
  • A cave with the bones of a dragon inside.  Black and silver scales are found.
  • An ancient cyclopean city is discovered.  A giant cyclops is slain in its sleep.
  • A night ambush of cyclops led by stone witches is repelled.
Session 49 Notes
  • Returning to Port Jackal, Eel departs from the group and is replaced with Ocham. (sp?)
  • A message bearing ill news from the west tells of a large army marching on Tatzlford.
  • At Tatzlfod, a young woman, Kisandra Numesti, tells of an army of mercenaries, barbarians, and trolls marching down the Skunk, led by Ameon Trask.
  • Pavul joins the rangers in sniping at the host of men as they make their way south.
  • Shoda is put to use dragging giant trunks of wood in place to plug up the gaps in the old city palisade.
  • The session ends on the 12th of Abadius as the invaders march on Tatzlford.

Session 47 - Whispering Crystals

Notes
  • Found numerous small holes in the ground and hillsides; as the wind blows over these it generates a whispering noise.  Inside the holes are glittering tangles of crystal, the area is riddled with gemstones.
  • Eel's demon returns with a heart in a jar.  The liquid is dumped out and the heart destroyed.  There are no signs of the corpse in the portable hole after.
  • Fires breakout in every city of the Red March.  Arson is expected and Ed's network starts digging.
  • Lily returns from the north.  House Lodovka has agreed to house an embassy for the same in exchange.
  • Eel takes a journey to Mivon to reflect.
  • A small community is found on the northern edge of the Tors, tucked away in a hidden bowl.
  • The session ends on the night if the 23rd of Kuthona.

Session 46 - The Ghost Stone

Notes
  • Demon hooks are found in a hidden compartment of the altar.  Eel walks through the labyrinth and bids the forces of darkness to do his whim and retrieve the heart of the Mouth of Astaroth.  The heartless mummified corpse is dumped into the portable hole.  The area is resealed in stone.
  • Remains of dead elk lead to a stone monolith where Xill ambush the party.  A metal chest is found near the monolith, and bashed open.
  • High on a mountain top the dark stone ruins of a giant tower stand.
  • A massive fanged maw vaults two mountains framing it, creating a gate.  The tongue forms stairs, the fangs and teeth side rails leading to an ancient stone highways that runs through the mountains to the east.
  • Kill a giant flytrap on a small river island.

Session 45 - Weeping Eels

Notes
  • Rinaldo meets his maker fighting a Peluda, a spiked beasty, in a series of crooked falls.
  • The party chills in Red March for a while.
  • More of the Nomen Heights is explored, and another, larger, waterfall is found near the crooked falls.  Signs of old structures at the bottom and top of the falls are found.
  • South of Varnhold, at the foot of the Tors a plaque is found between carvings of Hound Archons.  Stone Shape is used to create an opening into chambers beyond, and two hound archons are slain.  Eel cries like a baby.

Session 44 - The Mud Flats

Notes
  • Along the beautiful shores of Lake Silverstep little butterfly-winged dragons zoom around the cattails and reeds.  Eels and grigs are spotted, as well as a glimpse of a nude female swimming under the water.
  • A 3-mile long swath of bubbling mud on the lake shore is home to mudmen.  The corpse of a horse and its rider are discovered in the mud.
  • The body of Toman Hanvaki is found in a shallow gulch near the road north of Varnhold.  His neck is broken, and his brooch lies nearby.
  • The session ends on the 16th of Arodus in the middle of the day.
