Session 28 - The Thing In The Pit

Notes

• The pit turns out to be a tricky illusion with a gibbering mass of flesh and mouths at the bottom.
• An impossibly angled hallway leads to an altar and a watery hole in the ground.  Eel tries to gut himself over the altar with a dagger he finds in the ground.  A alien tendril-shaped creature erupts from the water and attacks.
• In a return trip Stone Shape is used to smother the stone from the altar over the watery hole creating an inch or two thick plug.
• Lily is recruited for the role of diplomat for Red March.
• Beagan and his four apprentice engineers promise their services to Roden.  Their total Profession (Engineering) bonus is +20, and a roll can be added to the kingdom bank every phase a building is built.
• Session ends in the month of Abadius, starting the new year of 4712 A.R.
