Session 36 - Valley of the Dead

Notes

• A number of farrows scar the Dunsward.  Mysterious markers are placed on the boundaries.  Later confirmed that this is the home of a bulette the centaurs use in their coming of age ceremonies.
• Met with Mother Moon.  Gifted Skybolt back to the centaurs.  Learned more information about Vordakai and an area called the Valley of the Dead.  Mother Moon requested they help Xaman if possible as she has gone missing in the area.
• Massive bones of a long-dead crag linnorm.  Herds of mastodons graze in the hills.
• Find the Valley of the Dead.  Miles of gravestones.  Find the a path through the mountains.
• At the end of the path come to a lake of black water with a giant limestone pillar in the middle.
• Scryed on several times during the course of the session.  Ed saw vision of scryer and location.
• Ended session while setting up camp in the woods next to the lake on the night of the 5th of Sarenith.

Session 35 - Spider Fields

Notes

• Brought the egg to Port Jackal.  Egg festival commences.
• Return to exploring the Nomen Heights.  Working their way toward the Nomen camp in the Dunsward.
• Uncover a really poorly thought out Ettercap ambush.
• Found a vast field of trap-door spider nests.  Ambushed by a group of giant spider.  Gathered spider silk from the nests.
• Ended session on the 2nd of Sarenith while exploring the Dunsward.

Session 34 - Between a Roc and a Hard Place

Notes

• Returned to Red March along the northern edge of Lake Silverstep.  Saw a long stretch of mud flats on the northern shore.
• Studied books from Varnhold and found entry noted by Pendrod that discussed Vordakai.
• Headed back out to Nomen Heights.
• Attacked by a roc.
• Discovered Talon's Peak.  A roc has been using it as a nest and they found a single egg.
• Ended session with the egg in transit back to Red March on the night of the 6th of Desnus.
